چکیده
Dear Sir, More than twenty years ago the Albers-Post scheme was proposed to describe the effects of ATP, ADP, Na, and K on transphosphorylation reactions carried out by Na, K-ATPase preparations. The scheme in its currently amplified version has been remarkably successful in accounting for the results of ion transport and transphosphorylation measurements, of physical and biochemical studies of the changes in pump configuration during transport cycles, of measurements of electrical events occurring during ion transport, and of measurements of the occlusion of Na and Rb ions by Na,K-ATPase preparations (Glynn, 1985, 1988). Basically, the Albers-Post scheme postulates that Na promotes phosphorylation of the pump by ATP to form the phosphorylated intermediate E1P, that Na is released during the conformational transition from EIP to E~P, that K promotes the dephosphorylation of E2P, and that K is released during the conformational transition from E 2 to El:

A comparative study on constitutive modeling of hot deformation flow curves in AZ91 magnesium alloy
Modeling the flow curves of materials at elevated temperatures is the first step in mathematical simulation of the hot deformation processes of them. In this work a comparative study was provided to examine the capability of three different constitutive equations in modeling the hot deformation flow curves of AZ91 magnesium alloy. For this, the Arrhenius equation with strain dependent constants...
متن کاملMODELING THE HOT DEFORMATION FLOW CURVES OF API X65 PIPELINE STEEL USING THE POWER LAW EQUATION
Till now, different constitutive models have been applied to model the hot deformation flow curves of different materials. In this research, the hot deformation flow stress of API X65 pipeline steel was modeled using the power law equation with strain dependent constants. The results was compared with the results of the other previously examined constitutive equations including the Arrhenius eq...
متن کاملSize Dependence of the Elastic Properties of Pd Nanowire: Molecular Dynamics Simulation
The mechanical properties including elastic stiffness constants as well as bulk modulus of Palladium (Pd) nanowire were calculated in the constant temperature and pressure (NPT), ensemble by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation technique. The quantum Sutton-Chen (Q-SC) many-body potential was used to calculate the cohesive energy as well as forces experience by every atoms. The temperature and pr...

متن کاملبررسی خواص مکانیکی و گرمایی فلز کبالت با روش شبیهسازی دینامیک مولکولی
The thermal and mechanical properties of pure cobalt were studied by using the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation technique, in the temperature range from 200 K up to melting point. The Cleri-Rosato many-body potential was used as interatomic potential. This MD simulation was employed at the constant pressure, constant temperature (NPT) ensemble. The temperature and pressure of the system were ...
